CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
We have introduced an array of sports activities at our school campus such as: Athletics, Badminton, Ball Badminton, Cricket, Cycling, Chess, Carom, Football, Hand Ball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Netball, Rugby, Softball, Table Tennis, Throw Ball, Dodge Ball and Volleyball.
PUBLIC SPEAKING: EMPOWERING CONFIDENT COMMUNICATORS
At NBM Model School, we believe that effective communication is the cornerstone of future success. With this vision, we have proudly introduced Public Speaking as a structured part of our curriculum from Class 3 onwards. Through age-appropriate activities like storytelling, debates, extempore, group discussions, and stage presentations, students are trained to express themselves clearly, confidently, and creatively. Our goal is to nurture articulate thinkers and poised speakers who are ready to lead, inspire, and make their voices heard. By embedding public speaking into regular classroom learning, we are not just teaching a skill — we are building future-ready individuals.
HOUSE SYSTEM AND INTER HOUSE COMPETITIONS
The school has a well-organized House System comprising four houses namely Ruby House, Emerald House, Sapphire House and Topaz House. The main feature of House Systems is the competition between Houses. Commendable academic and non-academic achievements are the areas of competition between these houses. Essay writing, debates, extempore, speech, singing, dance, mono-acting and many more events are conducted during these inter-house competitions. These events not only provide a break from the classroom learning but also stimulate the child’s creative talents.

Accommodation needs to be the perfect balance between a study and living environment. MOBILE APP FACILITY
The school has a dedicated school app with the name “NBM MODEL SCHOOL”. It is available on both android and iOS platforms. With the advancement in science and technology, our school has also upgraded itself in order to provide better support to our students. Assignments, Classwork, Homework, attendance and everything else related to a child’s academic growth is available on the app. The app also provides a seamless communication between parents and teachers.
COUNSELING AND GUIDANCE
Teachers provide the students with latest information regarding the various competitions held in different regions at various times. Visiting lectures/facilitators are also invited by the school authorities to provide recent strategies in techniques. Students who are experiencing severe emotional difficulties or personal problems and who need additional assistance can seek confidential and sensitive support and counselling from their trustworthy teachers.
ONLINE CBT (COMPUTER BASED TEST)
We, at NBM MODEL SCHOOL believe in making our students future ready and in the quest of doing so, we have introduced our latest initiative- Online MCQ test. The teachers frame competency based MCQ questions and the students attend these tests during the school hours in the computer lab. The students are exposed to a real-life experience of a CBT exam. The tests are conducted through our digital platform, so the students, parents and teachers can easily access the result once it is made available to them.
Special Tutorial Class
We form small groups of two or three students where we can blend ‘the basics’ with more specialized instruction. There are both pre-school and post-school classes for the benefit of the students. These are paid services which are not mandatory for the students.
Hot Lunch Facility
Proper food at proper times is an essential aspect in the life of every student. Fast food and junk food are equally unhealthy and harmful. It has been observed that most of the children are not particular about food. They need a healthy lunch to keep them motivated both physically and mentally. In our school we provide healthy hot lunch to our students against a reasonable price. This is a great relief for those parents who are office-goers.
Language Training Programme
Specialized language lab helps our students to learn English in a proper way. They learn to pronounce each and every word correctly and they communicate effectively. It is difficult to learn English properly in a non English speaking environment. Our language lab helps to overcome this difficulty.
Free WiFi Zone
Free Wifi zone helps the teachers and the students to get the maximum access to internet for gaining knowledge which is free and accessible. Our knowledge centre is a vast recourse of online materials.
