Examination Guidelines
Examinations are an important part of assessing a student’s academic progress and overall development. To ensure smooth and fair conduct of examinations, the following guidelines must be observed by all students, parents, and staff.
General Instructionse
- Students must be present at the school campus at least 15 minutes before the scheduled arrival time.
- Entry into the examination hall will not be permitted after 15 minutes from the start of the exam.
- All students must wear proper school uniform and carry their school ID card and Admit Cards.
- Admit Cards will be issued only if all dues are settled.
- Students must carry their own stationery (pens, pencils, erasers, geometry box, colours, etc.). Borrowing or lending during exams is strictly prohibited.
Items Allowed and Not Allowed
- Only transparent pouches for stationery are allowed.
- Exam Boards are allowed. Pasting any kind of paper on the board is strictly prohibited.
- Use of log tables, calculators, or any electronic device is not permitted unless specifically instructed.
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, or any digital devices are strictly prohibited in the examination hall.
Conduct During Examinations
- Students must maintain silence and discipline at all times.
- Any form of malpractice, including copying or helping others, will lead to cancellation of the paper and disciplinary action as per the Rules stated by CBSE under Unfair Means (UFM).
- Students must follow the invigilator’s instructions carefully.
- Use of unparliamentary language or misbehaviour will not be tolerated.
Answer Sheet Guidelines
- Students must write their roll number, class, and section clearly on the answer sheet.
- No names or personal marks should be written on the answer sheet.
- Students must write answers neatly and ensure that all questions are attempted within the given time.
- Rough work should be done only in the space provided.
Attendance and Absence
- Attendance during examinations is compulsory.
- No re-examination will be conducted for students absent without a valid medical certificate.
- Parents must submit a written application with medical documents if a student is unable to appear for an exam due to health reasons.
Evaluation and Progress Reports
- Answer scripts will be shown to students/parents as per schedule.
- Results will be declared only after the completion of all dues and formalities.
- Performance will be assessed holistically, including class tests, projects, assignments, and term examinations.
Parents’ Role
- Ensure your child revises systematically and follows a proper study routine.
- Provide a healthy diet, adequate sleep, and a stress-free environment during exams.
- Parents must not attempt to approach exam halls or invigilators during examinations.
Special Guidelines
- Students with special needs must inform the school in advance for necessary provisions.
- In case of any emergency during the exam, students must inform the invigilator immediately.
