STUDENTS CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. Every student should carry his/her almanac and identity card to school each day.
  2. Monthly Assessment must be written only in designated test copies, else their answers will not be evaluated and they will be awarded zero.
  3. Students are not allowed to go outside the class without permission.
  4. Students who come to school on their own should arrive at the school before the mentioned time.
  5. Changing of class rooms between periods should be done in silence and in an orderly manner.
  6. Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform should be worn on all working days and for all school functions.
  7. Behave in a manner that contributes to a safe learning environment and which does not violate other students right to learn.
  8. To understand all homework assignments by listening to directions, asking questions when something is unclear and reading directions.
  9. To complete all assignments to the best of his/her ability.
  10. To return materials and assignments on time.
  11. To make up any missed homework that the teacher requires
  12. Boys should get their proper hair cut at regular intervals. Girls with long hair should come in two plaits. Colouring of hair is strictly prohibited for all the students.
  13. No shouting or whistling is allowed in or around the school building.
  14. Running in the corridors is strictly prohibited.
  15. Care must be taken of all school properties and no student should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs or damage any school furniture or write or draw on any belonging of others. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or to the representative.
  16. The students are expected to report to the school authorities about any kind of damage to the school property by a particular child or a group. Those found guilty will be fined for the same.
  17. No books (other than text books or library books), magazines or paper should be brought to school.
  18. Lending or borrowing of money and other articles is not permitted.
  19. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles to school. School will not be responsible for any articles lost. Students are advised not to wear gold ornaments to school.
  20. Students not availing bus facilities should wait for their parents/guardians in the school premises when the school gets over.
  21. In case of delay, they should report to the school office. Those who go home alone, should not loiter about on their way but be prompt in returning straight to their home.
  22. Students are supposed to board their buses from their respective bus stops.
  23. Students should observe polite manners, wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct.
  24. They should always greet the teachers when they meet them. Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences.
  25. The school reserves the right to dismiss a student whose diligence or progress in studies is steadily unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students. Misbehaviour or misconduct with any of the teaching or non-teaching staff shall call for strict action against the students.
  26. Parents and guardians should not visit their wards or teachers in the class rooms without the permission of the Principal.
  27. Unless an emergency arises, students are not expected to seek permission to leave the school before the school gets over.
  28. Students are not supposed to miss any teaching / games / activity period.
  29. Bursting crackers or splashing colour during Diwali / Holi in the school premises is strictly forbidden. Non-compliance with these instructions can result in expulsion from the school.
  30. Name, class and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on all belongings including blazer and jersey of the students.
  31. School appointees should wear their respective badges every day.
  32. Students should get their Report Cards signed by the guardians within two days of the receipt of the Report Card.
  33. 75% and more attendance is compulsory for the students of Prep-I to X.
  34. No student is permitted to bring MOBILE PHONE / CAMERA to school.
  35. POLYTHENE Bags are banned inside the campus.

GENERAL GUIDELINES TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS

  1. Sending their child to school every day.
  2. Ensuring that child attends school regularly and arrives on time.
  3. Ensuring that the school is updated with accurate contact information (e.g. home address, mobile number, who may pick up a child).
  4. Be aware of their child’s work, progress, and problems by reading school notices, talking to their child about school, reviewing their child’s work and progress reports and meeting with school staff .
  5. Provide a supportive home setting where education is a priority.
  6. Reinforce the importance of acquiring the knowledge, skill and values needed to function effectively.
  7. To provide an environment that is conductive to do homework (i.e. a quiet and consistent place and time).
  8. Maintaining verbal and/or written contact with their child’s teachers and principal about the progress of their child’s education.
  9. Adhering to all school policies, school rules and regulations
  10. Question their child about school work, attendance, and behaviour and discuss what is expected by the school.
  11. Teach their child to respect the property, safety, and rights of others and the importance of refraining from intimidating, harassing or discriminatory behaviour.
  12. Take part in school and community programs that empower parents to participate in educational decision-making.
  13. To aid the student, but not do the actual homework.
  14. To notify the teacher when homework creates a problem.
  15. To read school notice / SMS and respond in a timely manner.
  16. Parents are directed not to enter classroom to see their children or teachers during school hours.
  17. Parents are requested to inform the school if there is any change in their residential address and telephone numbers in the form or written application and deposit the same at the school office.
  18. Leave for half day should not be asked for. In emergency written permission must be taken from the principal.
  19. A child absent due to contagious disease will be allowed to resume classes only on submission of medical fitness certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner.
  20. Parents are requested to co-operate with the school in its attempt to help their children’s progress by paying attention to their regularity, punctuality and discipline and also taking interest in their child’s work.
  21. Parents should check the School APP every day and note the assignments and other instruction given.
  22. Girl students are not allowed to wear earrings except small tops/studs. No student is allowed to put on nail polish/mehndi or finger rings.
  23. Parents should advise their wards not to carry valuable articles like expensive watches, calculators, mobiles, any sharp objects, Jewellery to school.
  24. In case of loss of such valuable items, the school authorities shall not undertake any responsibility.
  25. Parents are requested to carry the parent’s copy of the student’s identity card with them while visiting the school or during the dispersal time of the school.
  26. No student is allowed to bring presentation to school to make his/her or other’s birth day or any occasion.
  27. Our school is poly bag free zone. All parents are requested not to send or bring any articles like Tiffin, craft articles to the school in poly bag.
  28. On P.T.M day a student should come in school uniform along with his/her parents. If not, then he/she will not be allowed to attend the same.
  29. Birth certificate once submitted cannot be changed

ABSENCE

  1. Students are responsible for making up all work missed by them.
  2. No students will be allowed to step out of the school gate without the gate pass either signed by the principal /school supervisor/class in charge.
  3. No student who had been absent on the previous day, will be allowed to the class without the permission of the class teacher/ class in charge.
  4. No leave of absence is granted except on medical grounds.
  5. Attendance is compulsory on the last working day and the reopening day of each vacation.
  6. It is compulsory for the students to obtain 75% attendance in the academic year to make them eligible to sit for their final examination.
  7. The percentage however can be relaxed on medical grounds.
  8. A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a medical certificate permitting him to do so.
  9. Students suffering from the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class.
